Megeve is accessible by many forms of transport – Air, Rail or Car.
Due to the fact that there are so many cheap deals now available we believe it is easier for you to arrange your own transport to the resort. This way you can choose times that are convenient to you. Please do not hesitate to ask if you need any assistance or advice with making travel arrangements.
The nearest airport is Geneva in Switzerland and the transfer takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Scheduled and charter flights are available from Luton, Heathrow, Gatwick, London City and various regional airports. There are coach transfers from the airport to the resort. Please ask for more details. If you are booking quite far in advance the best place to book is with EasyJet. Other good places to book are Cheapflights and Ebookers.com. Details of all these and the ones below can be found at the end of this section.
For those who like to travel by train there are a few options available. There is the Day or Night Eurostar that goes directly from London Waterloo to Moutiers or Bourg St.Maurice. From here there would be a 2 hour transfer to the resort. Alternatively there is the option of taking the Eurostar to Paris and changing on to an overnight sleeper train that will take you straight to St.Gervais. From here there are regular bus services to the resort that take approximately 20 minutes.
Driving to Megeve is much simpler and quicker than to many other resorts. From Calais the journey should take about 8 hours and the majority of this journey would be on the motorway. Tolls are in the region of £30-£35 per car each way. All the usual crossings are available, P&O Stena Line, P&O Portsmouth, Hoverspeed, Eurotunnel and Brittany Ferries.

Prices are in £’s per person and are based on two people sharing a double or twin bedroom, 10 in total.
Prices include Breakfast, Afternoon Tea and Dinner in the evening which includes a selection of wines to accompany the evening meal followed by coffee and petit fours.
